My Neighbors son was arrested for incest. I sware he has a W Bush Bumper sticker on his car. Why is this?

This happaned a few weeks back. My neighbors son was having sex with his own sister and to make a long story short he is now in jail and on his car he has republican bumper stickers. MY QUESITON IS: Why Are republicans known for htis type of illegal activity yet they say they are christians?

i really don't think the bumper sticker or the fact that he is or you think he is republican has anything to do with him being an incested pig....
isn't this the same thing that most people do to blacks?...one bad seed and they hate them all or put them all down with their words....

Since most people in this country are Christian, whether Republican or not, I haven't seen any studies that show whether molesters are democrat or republican.

I will agree, the higher your income, the more likely you are to get away with it!

I don't think they have ever thought out what to believe. They seem to isolate each issue and make up an argument and don't bother checking to see if it is consistent with their other stands. Executions are moral, termination of a pregnancy, even if it kills a live breathing woman isn't! That is why I have such a hard time trying to figure where they are coming from!..

Priest's have a real issue with this!! And churches don't report, which they are in a lot of hot water about!

People do bad things. It has nothing to do with if they are Democrats or Republicans.

It's just that it seems so more out-of-character because Republicans spend so much time spin-doctoring that they are in the right and the good, when they're just regular people, and do bad things just as often as anyone else. They have no moral high ground. And its better to take a person one-on-one than to try and lump them in a group and say, oh they must be a good or bad person because of X.

actually, not JUST republicans are known for this. we assume they are because we associate both incest and conservatives (republicans) with the southern states. but in truth it is no more common there than in northern states (on average).

the better question is: "Why are republicans so uppity, hypocritical, narrow-minded and self-serving?"

And i have no idea why that is, except maybe BECAUSE they are christians, and christians usually have a difficult time accepting that they could be wrong, that they ARE wrong, or that there are other ways to live besides the ones that they have chosen.

What your neighbor did is morally WRONG and SICK. It doesn't matter who you are, there's always going to be sick people out there.(yet they say they are Christians?) People can say whatever they want but, do they really mean it? Those people like your neighbor that hide behind JC and Bush and "say" they're beliefs, can talk the talk. But, when it comes to the walkin' you are not going to be there to judge them when it's there time, so why care.

one has nothing to do with the other. When republicans are in office, you hear about all the bad they do and when the Democrats are in office you hear of their messes. Political and religious views do not protect one from bad choices
