When I try to delete audio files on a cd, a pop up says That I can't delete these files. But, it also says that they will get deleted when I put different files on the CD. But, when I try, it says this CD isn't rewriteable, or that The cd is too full.

If you are trying to erase the disc, All cd writing applications have the erase function. Windows XP has built in cd writing capabilities also, If you are running Windows Xp, just open My computer, right click on the cdrw drive and you should see the option to erase the disc. You may also be trying to add files to a disc that has been closed off or finalized, in that case your only option is to erase it. If you add files to a disc and it's not full, you will be able to add to it only if the session is closed and not the disc. I hope this helps.

CD-RWs act just like CD-Rs when you make them. You can't just modify them on the fly from a Windows Explorer window (well you could if the CD-RW was formatted as a UDF packet-writing disc with an application like Roxio's DirectCD or Nero's InCD, but chances are you didn't do that).

To modify the content of most CD-RWs, you have to erase them. There should be an erase option in the software you use to make audio CD's.

First make sure that they are CD-RWs and not CD-Rs
Second you might need to Erase the CD-RW to fit more info. Stick in the CD-RW. Then View the Contents in a Folder and on the Left Task Pane and it will say Erase disc or something.

i've seen it in different applications (i.e., RecordNow) that have an "erase cd" function. Nero might have this as well. Try to locate a copy or check download.com for CDRW utility programs.
