I'm taking red raspberry combination capsules to speed up labor. Will it work?

i checked online and it says it gets u ready to deliver. But i wanna know will it also make my contractions stronger than im having? And will it open me up faster cuz im only 1 cm?

It depends on how far along you are. If your body is not responding to natural labor pains then you don't really need to induce a foreign substance and risk exposing your baby to something new. But, if you want a less invasive alternative try some prime rose capsules- use a sterile needle and poke a few holes in one and insert it vaginally near the cervix it will help you efface and dilate. I was in labor for 3 weeks with our son (#2) my contractions were steady and strong. I just was not changing I stayed at 1cm for the whole time up until 45 min. before I delivered him(at 42 weeks). Other words, maybe try to be patient he will come when he is ready and not a min. sooner. Oh, I tried the castrol oil thing at 41 weeks. It did nothing for me but made me use the bathroom for two days. highly not suggested. Taste repulsive and you could run the risk of becoming dehydrated. Good luck.

I have no idea if that will work but if ur ready to pop and u dont wan to carry anymore my grandmother told me to buy castrole oil (not motor oil) at the grocery store mix it with something to drink prefebly a glass of OJ it may taste a little bad but it works! U'll have the #2's in the bathroom for a while and then you'll start going into labor about 2 or 3 hours if not sooner after u drink it. So drink up and enjoy the loife ur bringing into this world!!! It really works just remember when u get to the doctors tell them to give u pain meds lol I delivered with none and it sucked!!!!! by the way since ur already inlabor this stuff should speed up the process and make u dilate faster....

Raspberry leaf tea does increase the strenght of contractions which in effect shortens labour but this is not always the case.

It also depends on the position of the baby, size of the baby and if your cervix is ripe and ready to labour.

I am not sure that it really helps all that much. I drank raspberry tea for days because I was overdue with my daughter, and it didn't help one bit. As far as intercourse goes, only engage in that if your doctor says it is okay. But that does work well.

Some more advice keep walking around because it really helps jump start the labor.

I don't know much about raspberry combination capsules, but I know I wouldn't be taking anything I know nothing about while carrying my child . As a health care taker I strongly suggest you let nature take its course.

No its not a miracle pill.
What it does is soften the cervix so you dialate faster when your in labour.
Y dont you try having sex or giving your partner oral. Oral is better because the sperm gets into your system faster.
Or cherish what little time you have left to yourself

i have never heard of these capsules but if it past your due date your doctor can help you. If you ask most docs will set you up to be induced at the hospital where they can monitor you.

I don't know if it works but sex work for me I was at one cm and we had sex in the morning and then after lunch I was at hospital the next morning

drink caster oil .......you will have the baby within 2 days.....
about 14 pregnancies in my family is enough proof to me
