I'm 41 and I love my age...I wouldn't go back to being a teenager for anything. I'm smarter, wiser, more confident, and even better looking than I was back then. Being a teenager is awkward and there is SO much peer pressure...my heart goes out to today's younger generation because I think they have it even harder than mine did.

It was fun to be young but old has it advantages. Now I know what i want and how to get it. I also know what was not worth rushing to get. When you reach a point in time when you can look back and feel satisfied life has been good. Youth is full of high hopes and broken dreams but old age lets you pick out the really good from the common stuff and appreciate what you can do vs what you want to do.

Personally, I would rather grow old in hopes of teaching my children and theirs the importance of family and history that we seem to be losing today..my dad and my grandparents were in the coveered wagon days..we also come form a long line of infantry men..Even today, I know that at least 11 family members that are deployed in various places through-out the world..God Bless America! Keep our soldiers safe..I learned a lot of things from my parents and grandparents along with aunts, uncles, and cousins and am going to write a biography one day about our family..I guess I already have started since I started keeping journals a few years back...Hope some of those of you that are younger than my 47 years do the same for your ancestors!...Have a wonderful Day!..

Stay young because when your old you get all decrepid and get pains and ****. Then after a long 30 year haul of all that pain then you die. Soo I'd rather be young. Forgot to mention alzheimers and sinialty or however you spell it. And all that stuff. haha yea youngs better.

That, is a question that rests profoundly on the horns of a dilemma. If I could be young and retain the wisdom I have gained as I have become old, then I choose youth. If I could be old and retain the vitality of my youth, as well as my hard earned wisdom, then I would choose to be old. In fact, I have retained much of the vitality of my youth, so I choose...I still choose youth.

You can't be old without being young and you can only answer this question when you have experienced both. I hope I get to see both!

To be young, with the wisdom that comes with age, would be the perfect combination. Health, energy, enthusiasm, wisdom, experience, and emotional maturity all in one package would be ideal!
