Does anyone know were I can find a live recording of Rent with the original cast? I have searched and haven't found anything. Ebay hasn't worked and neither has amazon. Any other suggestions?

There are many 'foot wear' websites online. Technically, I am not sure they are one hundred percent legal, so they try to keep them quiet. One I have seen linked a lot, however, that has [for sale] the Original Broadway Cast of Rent is linked below, under sources. They have it on DVD.
As far as I know [from my own personal experience looking for Rent videos, of which I have a lot], there is only one show of the entire OBC that was recorded on video. Because of this, the original tape of it has been copied many, many times and not all of the copies available online are very good quality. Its still worth buying, however, if you are a big fan of the musical, as no cast has had the chemistry that original cast did.
There are a lot more videos of other casts - including the OBC minus Daphne Rubin-Vega, who played the original Mimi and was the first cast member to leave. A lot of these are better quality.
