The low paid job I would prefer. Happiness is a blessing and a job that gives you satisfaction is definately a reward.

Ironically a lot of jobs such as sportsperson, entertainer, or even senior office jobs can be both fulfilling and highly paid.
I would go for the high paid unsatisfying job providing the working hours were not too long, and there wasn't an unbearable level of stress.
I could then use the high pay to fulfill myself outside of my working life.
However, enjoyable your job, the bills still need to be paid, and not having financial worries can be liberating.

They say money is not important, and it is true, it is not important, IF you have it. But if you do not have it, then it really is very important.
Sorry, I know that doesn't help much.
I think you should do the job that makes you happy (if you plan to do it for the long term), but why not take the bigger money job, and then start looking for a bigger money job that DOES make you happy?

In a job you hate you will find that earning the money is harder than in a job you like. You will also do a better job in employment you enjoy. A lot of money is nice, but what are you going to do with it.....you'll only spend it with less care.

Low paying job you are satisfied with - I can find other ways to make money - personal satisfaction is "doing it your way". The high paying job is "doing it their way".
