Several complaints have been made to my employer about another employee and various inappropriate comments and suggestions he has made. The employer has not taken action and keeps promising something will be done. It's been over a month and the accused keeps coming to work. What do I do??

Call the DA's office. They will tell you what to do next. Document everything and have witnesses.

The accused can keep coming to work. You can't have a co-worker fired just by accusing him/her of saying inappropriate things. If you employer did an investigation and determined nothing was amiss, you may be dreaming this up. Most employers pull the trigger at the slightest provocation and totally f**k over a person who is accused in this arena. If nothing has happened, you can either leave or figure out that nothing happened and you need to put down the emotion and let it go. I would respect your right to accuse a wrongdoer a little more if you had to pay a price for making a false or marginal accusation.

If not, (or even if so) you can call your state labor board and the attorney general's office and file a complaint with them. Be sure, though, that you are able to back up your claims rather than being caught in a he-said she-said situation. If anyone else at your workplace can verify your claims, that would be excellent.

file a complaint with the police and tell the other employee to do the same. with enough complaints the will be forced to do something. you can also talk to the human resource officer
and call the labor board in your state.

Try the Human Resources Division if you have one. Otherwise I would just keep complaining. Maybe he gave the guy just a verbal warning. Try composing a written complaint. Keep a copy for yourself. Make a list of everything the guy says or does. Dates, times, what was said, to whom, etc. G-Luck.

Take it to the corporate office. And state that your employer did not & has not done anything about the harrassment complaint you told them about.

Is there anybody above him you can speak to? If not, sexual harrassment is a legal issue, and you could always contact the police (through their non-emergency line, of course) about what you can do.

Got to the equal employment opportunity commission and call an attorney......The same thing happened to me and my attorney made a phone call to the supervisor......The guy was gone in a matter of hours.........
