I can agree with this totally. I am an Indy wrestler in NW Tennessee area and people do not get it that we put are life and bodies on the line every time we go out there and do a match. Maybe we dont make the big bucks but we do it because we love it and do it for the fans and to live out our dreams or at least it was a dream of mine growing up.

Of course Indy wrestlers don't get enough respect. The Independent scene is where you can find some of the best wrestling in the world. WWE has some of the best wrestlers in the world, but rarely ever do you get to see a good match, which disgusts me. TNA(Who I still consider an Indy) puts on some of the best matches in the world. Ring of Honor has actually brought in Kenta Kobashi who is a wrestling machine, and had probably the only 5 Star match in years with Samoa Joe versus CM Punk. Companies like PWG and CZW(despite its garbage image) have put on some extrememly good matches. Companies like IWA midsouth always go all out

Its a shame that a good number of WWE fans have such a poor knowlege of wrestling, otherwise they might start to demand more quality matches and more guys who bust their butts in the idies could get the time they deserve. Unfortunately it seems that most WWE fans are more interested in filler and sophmoric humor than they are wrestling. This is why I hope that TNA will continue to grow and become a solid competitor for WWE, as it will only help the business.

Just out of curiosity who did you wrestle as?
