No. The truth is it was a little crappy.
From M. Night Shamalyan, I really like Sixth Sense and Unbreakable. The Village was a massive disappointment.

if your talking about the movie the village my answer is hell no that movie was sooo dumb and boring my boyfriend fell asleep during the first 20 mins.the whole damn time i was watchin it i just didnt get the point .thats the most stupidiest crap i've ever seen

it has typical M. Night Shymalan moments of fright, but it is cheap fright. He builds tension and then scares you, almost like a cat jumping into frame makes people jump out of their seats. The premise which is revealed at the end is clever yet predictable.
I'd like to see him direct a comedy.
