Could be factory scam to get you in to a dealer for a maintenance check up (programed to come on a certain mileage). Agree, try Autozone. They can run a computer code check for FREE and see if that is what it is. Most of them know how to re-set that with out the mega buck the dealer will want.

You can go to your local mechanic and they can put it on a machine that will tell them what is wrong with the vehicle. Just ask first how much they charge. For instance AutoZone doesn't cost anything, but a lot of times they can't tell you specifically what is wrong with it because alot of people that work at AutoZone are not actually mechanics.

Sounds like it might be an oxygen sensor that needs replaced. If you live near an autozone, they will hook up a basic computer for free and check it for you. Hopefully, you have already checked all of the other basics first.

Something is going on with your engine, man. Go to a repair shop and get it check. May not be serious, but you never know.
