I don't know about girls but i know guys usually get sterile when always rides a horse too roughly. Women doing too streneous sometime do lose their virginity, because they exert too much strength that their hymen usually break.
My first ex got her hymen break when she did gymnastics.

The Hymen could be ruptured due to various other reasons too:
Due to activities like bicycling, horse riding, high jump, and hurdles
Also due to dancing
Masturbation, especially when indulged with a large foreign body like a vibrator
An accident or injury, such as falling on a projecting object
Due to introduction of instruments by doctors during examination or surgical operation
While doing various faulty technique like douching (cleaning) the vagina. Douching should never be done since there are high possibilities of infection.
Thus the Hymen could be ruptured not only due to sexual intercourse but also due to various other reasons.

losing virginity by riding a horse?... this sounds kindof weird, depending on what context your using it in... it could be both possible and not possible... or extremely blown out of proportion...
so ill just answer it in the most innocent form....
virginity wise- No- this can only be done through intercourse...
although riding a horse, esp during the most intense riding such as running or galloping, could theoretically damage the physical aspect of being a virgin... if this is what you mean... a virgin in that aspect is based on the presence of a himen.

The hymen can be broken in many ways, ie. horseback riding, a doctors exam, Tampons, etc. Many women that have had sex use these excuses and will tell you that you are their first. The only way to know for sure is to have the Hymen intact. Even this is not 100 % ,because many plastic surgeons will stitch in a new Hymen for about 1000 dollars.

It could maybe break her hymen. I've heard of doing sports and using tampons doing that, but it would not be the same as losing her virginity. Losing your virginity constitutes as having actual penetration. I don't think a horses back can do that.

A virgin is "a person who has not had sexual intercourse." Riding a horse roughly has nothing to do with sexual intercourse! As others have said, riding a horse can cause one's hymen to tear as the hymen tears with penile penetration, but that is not the same thing as virginity!

While it is possible for a girl to have her hymen broken while horse riding, this isn't the same thing as losing her virginity.

Uhh... "losing virginity" means having sex by penetration of the vagina by the penis. Now, the "barrier" to the opening of the cervix that normally breaks the first time a girl has sex, CAN be ruptured by riding a horse, if that's what you mean.

yes and no. the hymen- a protective layer of skin that covers the vaginal opening can be ruptured by riding a horse, or wearing tampons. but (and this is an important but) these things don't mean she's had intercourse, and w/o intercourse she's still a virgin.

Wow. No its not possible...She could "pop her cherry" by riding a horse, or a bike, or using a tampon. But her virginity is only lost when the penis enters the vagina!
