i hope this will suffice...
when microscopic particles that are introduced into your nasal passage irritate the sinus cavity you feel a tingly or ticklish, itchy
sensation which can sometimes be accompanied by a sneeze.
when that occurs, it's your bodies' natural defenses that are, and I quote, "fighting back" with antibodies to "kick out" the uninvited host (or hosts) of germs that attack (the microscopic particles mentioned earlier)...
thanks for your time.

What Happens When We Sneeze

In the previous Biology classes I have taken, I was told that the hairs in your nose are there to catch debris and other airborne things before they reach your lungs. These hairs are extremely sensitive and so when they are disturbed, they cause your nose to have that funny feeling and then you sneeze. Also, notice that you don't sneeze when you are sleeping? Sneezing is an voluntary movement of your body and therefore when you are sleeping your nose hairs are as affected as when you are awake . Your heart does actually stop for a second and that is why people coined the phrase "bless you"

First, some particle(s) irritate(s) the lining of the nose and hystamines are released. They, in turn, produce fluid in the area to wash away the irrritant. If this does not occur, the neural structures react to relieve the body of the irritant by forceful expellation, called a sneeze. This momentarily stops many bodily functions, the heart, for instance, pauses under the stress of the sneeze.

when we sneeze, our heart stops for just an instant. the tickle in our nose is a sensation of the hair that collects and stops particles from going any further and the irritation causes the sneeze reaction.

When you sneeze you also unexpectedly fart. The resulting vacuum in your belly causes a slight headache you will soon recover from as soon as the gases reach equilibrium. I don't know what happened to me. This is a first.
