I went and right clicked on start. I clicked explore. And I went to a file called WINDOWS... and everything in there is in blue lettering starts with a $ sign and says Uninstall then some numbers then another $ sign at the end. What is this file?

your system updates and system files DO NOT DELETE THEM or you will have to reload your computer. there are also service packs in there DO NOT DELETE THEM OR YOU WILL HATE YOUSELF.

the $ in front of the folders hide them on a network so people in a company don't accadenly mess up your computer

These are important files to Windows. Don't mess with those, unless you know what you are doing. Those things with the $ mean that those are not viewable over a network.

Files that are hidden so that you won't jack with them. They are part of your operating system. If you would like to break your computer, start deleting them.
