I had a terrible time with gross anatomy in medical school. A couple of ideas that may help. First, try the book "Clinical Anatomy Made Ridiculously Simple." It uses humor and simplified drawings to help reinforce the ideas and relationships. Second, try studying an anatomy atlas. So much of anatomy is relationships between structures. It's easier to see them than to read about them. Make lists and drawings. One thing that helped me was to take difficult ideas and turn them into songs, usually really obscene songs. Outrageous things tend to be more memorable. I hope this helps.
