No, but there was a curious thing they did when they were promoting it.
There was a show on the Science Fiction Network which was a fake documentary about the Blair Witch.
During the movie, they made a reference to a Documentary one of the characters had seen on the Discovery Channel, I think it gave it a little bit of credibility, although it was a bit sneaky.

No, but very frightening to those many people who did not realize that it was not.
Soon after it became a mega hit, it was revealed to be a fiction rather than a documentary. Unfortunately for me, the surprise was wrecked before I saw Blair Witch Project. It could have been great!
Oh, well.

I hate to say, even though it really is all pretend. i replaced into dissatisfied to ascertain yet I researched and ultimately locate out. the three important characters are merely actors who determined to apply their authentic names. the internet web site is likewise only a publicity stunt. Heather, Mike, and Josh were despatched into the woods with distinctive the different solid and they recorded pictures of them appearing. that's an quite reliable phantasm because in the beginning i idea it replaced into authentic. the in reality authentic area is the legend of the Blair Witch

No Freaking way! They only said it was true just for sell more, is just made by some event that really happened, example: the circles in corn farms in some places, the circles are true, but the idea of they are made by aliens is just a myth.
