A classic Hollywood movie actor was having a difficult time making direct eye contact with his co-star while they were filming an intense close-up scene. A fellow actor advised him to look at his co-star's left eye to appear as though he were looking at both eyes. It's great advice, but do you know who said it?

It was Michael Caine. I remember watching an actress on Jay Leno that said he gave her that advice as well. She said something about the book that he wrote that he put that advice in.
