If you're like me, you probably will put too much in ypur suitcase and then end up wearing the same 2 outfits the entire time!
So keep it simple. San Diego is gonna be very warm / hot for the rest of the summer. VERY UNLIKELY we'll get any rain. Folks in San Diego do not dress up, unless the restaurant or venue says to. So casual wear is normal.
And, since San Diego is the nation's 8th largest city, you should have no problem finding the accessories you wish you brought -- sunblock ... a hat .. flip flops ... shades.

Everything the previous people answered is fine, but also take a sweater or light jacket. Believe it or not, nights in San Diego - even in the middle of summer - can be quite cool and you will be very glad you packed something warmer.

I'm retarded. At first I thought you asked about San Francisco. San Diego, all you need are shorts, shades, flip-flops and sun screen. Everything else you can get there or in Tijuana.

if your going to tijuanna by any chance take a mexican buddy to guide you. besides tj, take your camera, debit card, and cabby numbers.
