Is there a free product you can download that will record keystrokes and email address'. I am worried my babysitter is using the internet to chat with friends instead of watching my baby. And obviously this is a scary situation. Any products to try?

Here is a program its not free but it will do eveything you want and more. http://www.spectorsoft.com/products/SpectorPro_Windows/index.html
I know this is more then a trust issue you want to know your baby is safe. If you lock your pc she might bring in a laptop and hook up that way so see if you can trust her and put that program on its a few dollars but its well worth it. It will record everything both ways. It will tell you how long she is on the website and what sites she goes to. It will give you the peace of mind and then more. It will do everything you want and SO MUCH MORE enjoy.

Yes, but those products open your computer up to much worse than a typical babysitter IMing.

Just tell your sitter the internet is down, or put a password on your computer.

Why not take the plugs out of the computer/monitor when you leave? Or, change the setup so that you need a password to log in to access the internet?

Rather than go through all that, just password protect your PC. The she won't be able to use it at all.

Try going to "www.blazingtools.com/key-logger.htm". I'm not sure of what they have but it may help.
