Try some of the xanga, etc. music sites. Also many artists' websites have sound clips.

Don't use Bearshare, it packed with Viruses and Spyware. I personally use Filetopia or Ares (google them). I have never gotten viruses for there before.
If you want to burn music, you of course will need a CD burner software, which if your computer came with a CD burner there should be one on there (Sonic Record Now or Nero).
Make you a folder on your desktop, by right clicking anywhere on your desktop, then selecting "new folder" name the folder whatever you want.
Open up your P2P (Filetopia, Ares, Bearshare, Kazza, etc), go to your options at the top (i.e. File, Edit, View, Tools, something like this in the P2P) find where it says "successful downloads folders" or something like this. Hit your browse and find the new folder you created on your desktop. This will make it easy to find the music that you want to burn.
Once you have downloaded your music. Open up Nero/Sonic Record Now or whatever it is you use. Most of the CD burning softwares come with a drag-n-drop feature. Which means you can just select songs from your folder, click on them and drag it to the burner software.
After you've done this, but click burn, it will prompt you to put in a black CD-R.

Download a P2P program an download whatever you want! I recommend you Ares and Emule, both are cool, and don't have to pay, just type any of those on Yahoo.com and click on the first result, do you love it?

shareaza or Kazaa lite, limewire should work as well did you check to make sure you have no firewalls turned on.
