You're hot and you have a killer rack. I think that the Oilers jersey looks better on you than any player on the team.

The Oilers definitely made it a challenging series for the 'Canes. This was not an easy thing to win.

My husband was in Edmonton for games 3, 4, and 6 - he was very impressed by the friendliness of the Canadian fans. I stayed home and watched it on TV, and I must admit, every time those anthems were sung by your fans, I got chills.

Your town has a lot of heart. Be proud. And there is always next year for you.

The Oilers have nothing to be ashamed about. They went to game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals as an 8th seed!! And they had their chances in the third period after they cut the lead to 2-1 but Cam Ward stepped up and slammed the door on them. Be proud Edmonton. Your team left it all out there on Monday night.

Well, the Oilers did a lot better than the Flyers. And they didn't fold up like a cheap tent after Game 4.

Oh Baby, I have to comfort me Mum, who happens to be from Edmonton, but for the time being I'll comfort you...I was mad cos the refs let a lot of penalties go!!! The Oilers should have won the Cup!!...sniff sniff!!

You know, although the Oilers are a great team, they're human. You're right, there is next year! Everyone learns from mistakes. I'm sure they'll build new techniques and win next year, I mean, you can't learn to walk without learning to fall first. That's not very comforting, but I know how it feels when your favorite team loses. :-(

I'm from North Carolina and saw all seven games. The Oilers played great from Game 3 on. I hope your loyal fans soon get the kind of arena they deserve.

What an incredible season for the Oilers. I was floored and tickled when they took Detroit down.

Plus, they took the battle for the Cup all the way and forced a game 7!!! That is real talent. No shame for them at all they are a champion team.

Didn't you love Pisani's goal???

At least your Oilers made it to the Stanley Cup finals. My Flames bit the dust early. Too eager to hit the golf course I guess.

Comfort you? Come on!!!!!!! The Oil played tremendous hockey to turn this into a great series...and they played great hockey down the stretch too. Those of us in Ontario who hate the Leafs celebrate their futility as much as you celebrate Edmonton's success. SO cheer up! You've had a tremendous post season in the Alberta capital and showed hockey fans throughout North America what it means to be a fan. Way to go Edmonton!
