This is your Grade Point Average. Most schools use a A-,A,A+ scale. For example, if you get a 98 in Calculus, you would earn an A+ which is worth 4.33 points multiplied by how many hours of credit you get for that class (probably either 3 or 4). Add up all of your hours multiplied by their value and then divide by the total hours you took and you'll get your GPA.
A+=4.33
A=4
A-=3.66
B+=3.33
B=3
B-=2.66
C+=2.33
C=2
C-=1.66
For example:
3 hours Math 98=A+ ==3*4.33= 13 points
4 hours Science 80=B- ==4*2.66= 10.64 points
3 hours Chemistry 95=A ==3*4= 12 points
1 hour PE 75=C ==1*2= 2 points
4 hours Physics 88=B+ ==4*3.33= 13.32 points
Total Points: 50.96
Total Hours: 15
GPA: 50.96/15 = 3.397

I'm a mangna cume laude...no need to reveal my GPA...besides it's been like five years since I've looked at my transcripts. No one even cares anymore. In real life...no one really cares after it's all said and done and you get a job. My certificates are on a "love me wall" That's what my husband calls it.
Really though, what matters is that you always put your best foot forward and do the absolute best you can. People will respect you more for it. Do your best, all the time.
