Antizionism is not anti Jewish or anti semetic. It must be noted that Arabs and Jews are both semetic peoples.
Trying to label one group of people is wrong. There are zionist and antizionist Jews, and there are plenty of non Jews who support and are against zionism.
At the same time I am sure there are many Anti Jewish people who are antizionist, and there are many people who are Anti Arab who are pro zionist.
Nobody should paint a group of pepole with such a wide brush. I do not agree with forcing the concept of a Jewish state in Palestine, eliminating most of the Arab Palestinian population, while importing Jews from all over the world. These two acts consist of ethnic cleansing.
The fact is the state of Israel exists in Palestine. If Germany had given the zionists land in Germany for a Jewish state, the world would be a much calmer place. However we will have peace in Palestine one day when the Arab minority in Israel once again becomes the majority. When this happens you will have Arabs and Jews living in peace, and laws that are fair to Palestinian refugees who will be able to return to their homes once again.
The key is to love your enemies, whether they be Jew, Arab, zionist or antizionist.

No, they are not the same. I myself am anti-zionist but certainly not an anti-semite.........my paternal lineage is 100% Jewish.
However, I do not agree with the methods the jews used to regain their homeland nor do I think Israel has a "right to exist". I have nothing against jews, but I detest the Israeli government and their terrorist methods and think the US should no longer support Israel financially or militarily because of this. I would have no problem offering a piece of the US to the Israelites as an alternative "homeland". Or simply legal immigration of all Israelis into the US. Clearly an anti-semite would not want that!

They are not the same but many anti semites hide behind the idea of anti zionism. Jewish people are very involved with Israel. It took blood, sweat and tears to establish a homeland for the Jewish survivors of the Holacaust. Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East. It is the only ally of the US in the Middle East. Israel is surrounded on all sides by terrorist nations who want to destroy it. They are the same terrorists who attacked the US on 9-11. Perhaps you understand the problem a little better now.

No, this isn't true.
Someone like "Hitler" was an Anti_Semitic. He had his excuses to fight with Jews. He was a racist.
In the other hand, the most of extremist Jews are Zionists and they are supporting Israel. The most of Israelis are Zionists.
Zionists claiming Anti-Zionism's Jews are disgusting, because Zionists thinking all of Jews should be Israel's followers and supporting it, otherwise they are traitors.
The main problem occurs while these kind of people (Zionists) occupied and ridding a country like Israel. The countries and people that didn't accept / don't want to accept Israel, they are protesting with barbarism, invading and occupying.
Freedom countries want "Palestinian" rights be accepted by occupiers (Israel) and other Israel supporters countries.
There isn't any Anti-Semitic action. There is restoring "Palestinian" certain rights.

Probably a lot of difference. Hitler was willing to impose the "final solution" to rid the world of Jews, years before there was a Jewish state. I guess he was pretty much anti-semitic without being anti-zionist. Most anti-semitics these days talk about destroying Israel as a nation-state. Sounds both anti-semitic and anti-zionist. I could see a person being pro-semitic and against the Jewish state, in theory.

First of all, we need to separate out what these mean.
Zionism, as I understand it says that Israel has a right to exist.
Anti-Zionism says Israel does not have a right to exist.
Anti Semitism literally means you dislike Semetic people, and this includes Palestinians. The common use of the word, however is that it only refers to Jewish people.
it IS possible to say Israel should not exist yet embrace Jewish people, both religious and ethnic aspects of this group strictly speaking.
One example of this is that there are a group of Jewish people who say that it is not up to men to re create Israel but G-d. It is for the divine alone to say when Israel should come back to his people. Therefore, Israel should not exsist until the divine deems mankind worthy.
However, we have to examine just why many countries and people say they are against the founding of Israel. If you are against the existence of Israel because of their treatment of the Palestinians then there are a lot of countries who should be denied the right to exist, like the US, the UK, China, Russia, France. So it really isn't a question of if it SHOULD exist. It just does. None of us, even as individuals, have a RIGHT to exist, we just do. That is something Islamic countries will have to accept. Many of these countries, such as Iran and Iraq have Jewish people in their countries. Most Muslims have very little problem with Jewish people (many old Egyptian actresses were Jewish and many an Arab would dream about them and their beauty). I hear from many Arab men how they think Jewish women are the most beautiful women in the world! This being said, they disagree with the actions of Israel. I'm not talking about extremists (because there are extreme Jewish as well as Islamic activists) but everyday people. If you believe then that Israel should not exist because it belongs to the Muslims, and Musilms are more worthy than Jews,....then that might be deemed a more anti-Jewish reason. At the very least, a reason that is based on ethnocentricity, which has another moral question and another way you can confuse anti zionism with anti Jewish sentiment.
I think the two concepts have been mixed up partially because it is easy to wave off criticism by playing the anti semetic card and partically because people mix up the political aspect of Israel and the ethnic group of Jewish people.
Another problem with Zionism is that we have to accept that Israel WAS founded on concepts of colonialism and racism. You can say the same for quite a few countires. The British (as classic colonists) cared little of the Palestinian people. As white colonizers they saw the European Jews as more civilized and simply better than the "barbaric" Arabs. Therefore more deserving of whatever land (coastline, beachfront property) they wished for. If you look at British history it is nothing out of the ordinary to arbitrarily draw borders and disregard the needs of the indigenous people. So, yes, it was wrong, regardless of what the Jewish people went through. Creating millions of refugees is simply wrong. This being said, however, Israel still exists and it would be simply wrong again to shove Israelis off the land.
So strictly speaking, yes it is possible to be anti zionist and embrace Jewish people(both western and eastern). However you have to examine just WHY someone would want to obliterate Israel. Is it for political anger? Out of historical anger? Or you just hate Jews?
Ok i think i irritated enough people here. um,.... I love all people btw. And I see the middle east conflict like to abused siblings who are fighting against each other when they could be helping each other heal. Our grandfathers simply did not know better but we do, the tragedy is that we are so wrapped up in anger and revenge and justice that we cannot even take steps towards reconcilliation. It's just a paralysis.
Anyway, I hope this answered the question, somewhat.

There are many Jews who don't like the idea of Israel and they aren't anti-Semitic. There are many non-Jews who also oppose Israel but are not anti-Semitic. Unfortunately, many anti-Semites express their views through criticism of Israel, so it takes listening to a person's anti-Israeli views for a while to get an inkling whether their dislike of Israel is motivated by (or motivates) a dislike of Jews in general. Often people will claim to merely be anti-Israel, but eventually they let slip hatred of Jews unrelated to the question of Israel.

anti-zionism is being anti-israel. israel is a nation - not a religion, therefore disagreeing with israel does not make you anti-semetic.
being anti-semtic probably makes you anti-zionist.
right wing jewish groups have tried to blur the 2 defintions for their own cause
