Just read an article in McCalls magazine that many women are using "high-tech" adult diapers that feel dry and don't leak or have odor under their clothes for convenience purposes. These are younger women and are not incontinent - just find them convenient vs. standing in long bathroom lines, etc. Any ladies heard of this or partaken?

hey that's not a bad idea since I have very heavy periods and usually stay home on the first day of it because I have to change my pad every 30 minutes.

For starters, McCall Magazine is for a much "older" audience any way so are you sure they weren't talking about middle aged women who weren't incompetent but had weaker bladders than "younger" so they used them as a convenience? Secondly, if it was speaking of "younger" women, say in their 20's, I think that is pretty bizarre. I will however admit that during pregnancy, especially the first and third trimester when you have to pee every 20 minutes, that could be kind of convenient in a weird way, considering that in your first trimester you are not showing at all but the urge to go is just as intense but no one is letting a flat belly skip the line! Other than that...the pregnant woman scenario, I can't really see why a young, continent woman would be so lazy...and yucky!

Okay, I'm going to bed, now...I've heard it all!! I would hope that I am never too busy to go into the bathroom. How "convenient" would it be to walk around wearing a diaper full of urine? Yuck!!!

unless some1 has a medical problem i can't believe that they'd want to wear old lady incontinence diapers! i don't think i would be able to pee in my pants even if i was in a long lineup at the washroom & was waiting forever.....i would be too grossed out to do it!
what do u say to your friends while u're peeing in your pants....wait a sec guys, given me a minute.....mmmm....ok, i'm done, let's eat!

that is just laziness! I am 31 I had my whole colon removed last summer! I had to wear depends for the whole summer! I hated them they would stick to me when I sweat! They were bulky under my clothes! They stunk even when clean! Gave me really bad chapped butt! SO I think that idea is just plain stupid! I couldn't wait til I got to wear normal underwear!

i have not heard of this!!! that is crazy- i can't stand the feel of a pad during my period let alone a diaper full of pee. ewwww!!!!!!
