you need to contact 2 places one is AMA American motorcycle association and the next is Hells Angles these are the 2 big places you need permission from..AMA is the regular clubs and the Hells Angles run the outlaw world or clubs so talking to both is your best bet

two answers on there are kinda right. If you are going to try and wear patches or fly colors find out who the main gang is around your area. It might be hells angels, El Fasteros, Galloping Geese, or any other one percenters and so forth. Point is if you just start a club without their consent and approval you will be walking into a real **** storm of trouble. You don't have to fly their colors or wear any support patches to that gang necessarily, it is just considered wrong to do so and insulting not to get approval

Just join a local club and take over. not too many people want to do paperwork for clubs so its a way in (you may have to wait a little while for positions to be available, but lots of non-patch clubs chance 'officers' annually)

Got to go with Itza , on that one.

Your area's sanctioning body may be Hells Angels, and it may not. If you go throwing that name around, in most parts of the country you will not make a good impression with the local sanctioning club.
