I don't think it takes until your forty to be faithful. It really just takes until you find that one who catches your attention completely, which is rare because your always gonna see someone that catches your attention regardless of who you got by your side. I think being faithful really has a lot to do with you having gone through the phase of really realizing what your partners' worth and appreciating it to the point that you wouldn't want to jeopardize your future with that person under no circumstances.
Or it may be that you've never been in a faithful relationship so you have to realize the advantages of commitment and pick them over the "so called" advantages of fooling around. Some people have never been faithful to a person in their life and then you have people that have been faithful to someone and got cheated on themselves. This I think scars a lot of people and makes it more difficult to be so trusting. And when you don't trust a person it's hard to be faithful when you always think they may be on their little creep. A lot of people just refuse to be the one to get ran all over again so they do the running over.

Devotion, commitment and faithfulness is what it takes. But love does have a big part to do with it. When you decide to be faithful and do what you should is your choice abd being forty should not be the only number here. Basically when you grow up and are ready to commit that is when it should happen and not before and you should not even ever marry until you are ready for it!

True faithfulness and true love come from God. Once you experience this, then you will know what to look for.
This can happen at any age fortunately.
God Bless

your talking about personal integrity. without it your slimy.and in my experience its not age that governs it, its a personal choice that is made VERY early in a persons developement. (-10 yrs old.)
