This is a doozy of a question.I would have to say Paul, not just because he is probably the most popular, but for other reasons. I used to like George the most, just for the sheer fact that he wasn't given enough credit for his songs. The bandmembers only let him do one or two songs per album (Ringo sometimes got one!) but I liked him because all of his songs were gems (and he plays good guitar). Now I'm only 19 and there are probably some people who grew up with the Beatles who may disagree, but I just feel with the amount of songs that Paul wrote and their quality, the amount of instruments he can play(piano, bass, guitar, drums, ...) and the fact that he can still sing just as good as he could back in the 60's, makes him, in my eyes, the most talented. I think John was the most INNOVATIVE in terms of what the Beatles accomplished and the way they changed the face of music with the experimentation, with backwards recording and multiple tracks and things of the sort. George alos played several instruments (most of them exotic) and did contribute thoroughly to the Beatles' success as songwriters. Basically, they are all winners, but I have to put Paul out on the pedastle for this one.

I personally think that Paul McCartney was the most talented Beatle, simply for the fact that he could write songs in several different styles. Be it a ballad, a love song, or a hard hitting rock song he could carry his part both song writing and singing. Over the years he has proved his staying power with more than one generation.

It's a toss between John Lennon or Paul McCartney.
Both had successful solo careers & wrote most of the material on the Beatles records.
Can't decide... though I'm leaning more toward Lennon.
Mainly for his tireless efforts for hope on world peace.
"Imagine" still stands as the best song written & his best work by far.

I believe they were equally talented in their own rights...I think George managed to stay more elusive or private than the rest of them so for that reason I'd say he was the most talented...John and Paul wrote most the music and made them legendary so for that they are the most talented..Ringo managed to make wise investments along the way and for that he is most talented..=)

George Harrison.
He was an excellent singer, songwriter and muti-instrumentalist.
His talent was not in the flashy style of John (a damn good songwriter) or the cleverness of Paul.
George had a talent for bringing people together for good causes (Concert for Bangladesh) and forming unique groups (Traveling' Wilburys).
He was faithful in his love of the Supreme Being and he was gracious in letting earth-bound love go (as in the case of his first wife, Patti, who married Georges' friend, Eric Clapton).
He was focused and thoughtful, a true human being who cared about life.

In my opinion it was John Lennon before Yoko got hold of him.George was always under rated and when allowed to contribute his pieces to an lp always had the best songs on the album.Look at all of the material he came out with right after the break up---more than the others combined in the first couple of years!!! George was always my favorite!

I think their talent lies "in the group"not with the individual members. therefore my answer would be... all of them.
