If I understand you correctly unlike everyone else here (I hope I do), then you need to go to https://accountservices.passport.net , sign in, and click account services. You should be able to find a way to cancel the account from there. Sorry I can't give you more details, but I don't have an account with them :(

I'm not quite sure I'm clear on your problem but try this, if you want to keep the messenger service from starting up do these following steps: 1. Open RUN on the start menu, 2. type in msconfig, 3. uncheck: Msmsgs
That will prevent msm messenger from ever opening up unless you click it.

Don't sign in for 90 days. I never got the cancel account link to work, ever.

go to control panel, then to add/remove stuff- find msn 7.5 or whatever and remove it.

I had to call them to cancel mine. If you just wanna delete it...go to add/remove programs and delete it
