For the last four season, there has been very little interaction with viewers. The most that's happened was last season when viewers were able to vote who got "America's choice" and win special things - one housemate was even allowed a whole day outside of the house. The housemates vote one another out. I saw the first series in the UK, and I much preferred that - although I do watch the US show, I wish there was more viewer interaction.
There's usually two major competitions in the house every week. These are for the Head of Household, who nominates two people for eviction, and the Power of Veto. The POV is competed by the nominees for eviction and the HOH, and a housemate of each of their choices. Whoever wins the POV can choose to either, if they win, remove their self from nominations, or choose a housemate to be removed from eviction. The HOH then nominates another housemate for eviction. Eviction nominations are done by the remaining houseguests, with the HOH usually only voting when there is a tie, or if there is no other guests able to vote (eviction nominees aren't allowed to vote).

our big brother is spying by the CIA and it aint a show but it is reality, sometimes they vote one off, sometime several. Ask Saddam they told him "do what we say or else" after they armed him against the Iranians. Now they can steal your home and they act like nazi pigs, so there you have it DONT move here cause Im ready to leave and let Mexico have it.

Big Brother sucks in America.
It's not a very popular show.
Plus the people are old or are housewives and such - so it's not as interesting as it is in other countries.
The last couple of seasons have struggled to get decent ratings, and I don't even remember who the last winner was - didn't watch it.
