Every time I start talking they say like two or three words and then talk to her friends. Help!! : (

Well she is really nice to me but we cannot really get a conversation going.

You've got the first part right, talk to them not at them. You strike up a friendship, when you talk to them, they know you're just after something, when you talk at them. Generally, being after something with a girl will not totally scare them off, unless that's all you want. Talking at them gives them that impression. Make sure the conversation never dies, and how her friends react to you is usually crucial. The fact she quickly talks to her friends isn't always bad, she's getting their impressions of you, so how you handle her friends can be critical. So, talk to her a little while, don't let the conversation dry-up, and deal with her friends well, and one last thing, ask her out! Women categorize very quickly, and if there's too many conversations with her without the ask out, a friend only, you shall remain, so ask her out sooner rather than later. And, as my Dad used to say, the worse thing they can say is "No", and if that happens, just ask another one out! It really is that simple.

Just be yourself. And don't talk to those girls that do that to you. When she starts talking to her friend and they aren't talking to you, walk off. Make a point to walk away and go talk to someone else. You are too good a person to be ignored.

when you talk to her keep EYE CONTACT!!! it really ticks me off when guys are talking and they dont look at my face but something below that. :-P other than that, if you know if she likes any sports/teams say something about a game they just won or something like that.

First you form the words in your mind, then you utter them through your mouth. Try to say somthing other than "you're hot, wanna have sex"

What are you doing to turn them off? Do you keep eye contact? Is it your "body language"? There are just too many people to "find" to get hung up on somone who "won't give U time"...:-)=

Ask her questions about herself. Ask them in a way that is convincing to her. Tell her you like something she is wearing, or anything that comes to your mind. Girls can tell if you are intimidated by them.

talk to a girl when you WANT to talk to her as a charachter.. dont do it just because she is a girl....
and if a girl do so, she may be envolved with some one else.. or she doesnt like you.. so just drop her..

before thinking of talking to a girl you should be sure of your self, and sweety if she is that rude she is not worth it... there are more nice girls out there who are not so mean...
