most, if not all asian women thinks they should be fairer, and in the process avoid the sun so much it seems like they want to live in caves already? are they uncomfortable with their color? i think most of asian women's "natural" skin color is sexy.??

It's due to the Asian (and Arabic) tradition that if a woman has fair skin, then she does not have to work in the sun. In Western culture we find dark skin deireable because to us it signifies that the person spends a lot of time outdoors - therefore is physically fit. In other cultures, spending time outdoors was, in ancient times, seen as being less desireable due to the fact that only peasants worked and toiled in the sun... Therefore a wealthy and prosperous woman woman would have fair skin because she did not. Some traditions stay with us.

I don't know...I guess the whole, "paler than the moon" thing is an important characteristic to them. Kinda like a good number of black chicks hate to be light skinned, I suppose.

some probably want to be fairer just like some 'white' people want to be lighter skin..
it just depends on her personal prefrence.
