Depends on the age of your car and how much you have already invested in it. I kept sinking money into a 1997 Ford Taurus and then I wrecked it. If you've already spent money on replacing just about everything and you like the car then keep it and fix the tranny. If you'd like something different than go for it.

you were just driving along and it "went out" you loaned it out???
you shoulda took care of it. you only got 600 tied up in it ...what was you expecting for 600 dollars. you need to call them and tell them to come and get the piece of sh** you're not spending money on repairs and car payments.next tim don't wast money on down payments...$600 will buy dependable cheep transportation.

try a junkyard trans. go to car-part.com or your local junkyard and weigh out you options
