If you are looking for a short-term job, why don't you try a temporary agency? It's not fair to take a job where they will invest in training you, only to have you leave after only 4 weeks. Temp agencies are perfect for people looking for short-term assignments and you can sometimes work in really interesting places as well.

1) At the interveiw you will be asked about your previous work history (if you have any) and probably abit about your education. They will also ask you to describe yourself abit and will give you some scenarios of things that could happen at the job and they will ask how you would handle them. 2) No they will not mind at all, but you do need to let them know this at the interveiw so they know from the start. They will ask you about your availability once you get the position. 3) You simply tell them, they will be more than understanding. 4) You will get paid but even if it is unbarable after 2 weeks try and stick it out for at least a month or two as this will look bad on your resume and you probably won't get a good reference from them when you leave. It also prepares you for a real job where you can't really leave after 2 weeks. 5) It's not a course it is part of your induction training, once you are hired you will be sent to head office with other new employees for the day to complete an induction. It will consist of answering questions, watching safety videos and signing all the forms. Working at a fast food job can be a great job depending on the kind of people you are working with!

I really don't think that most places will hire someone for only four weeks. You could always "leave that part out" and then quit after 4 weeks. Just do it the right way so you can either come back later or get a good job reference in the future.

Even MC ( we hire almost anyone) wants a worker who will work longer than 4 weeks, if you tell them that you are only going to work 4 week they will not hire you, they want an employee that will last much longer than that.

It shouldn't be- just don't tell them that you only want to work for 4 weeks. What they don't know won't hurt them.
