Put yourself on the other side of the mountain and ask yourself would this be considered cheating. This is even worse than simply talking to someone sexually, this became physical. AND A KISS! A kiss is more intimate than sex itself. And, yes Europeans kiss to greet, but I doubt that you're European and I doubt that this is Europe. Plus, I don't think that you were greeting this guy. You knew what you were doing, and sad to say this, but reality is that this is a form of cheating. He probably won't care though.

Most definitely. If the shoe were on the other foot, how would you feel? Maybe you should think about being alone, because this guy doesn't deserve to have a gf that cheats on him.
