It all depends on how you are taking your makeup off. If you are just using a makeup remover or if you are scrubbing your face with an abrasive product it could affect your face. You should always use a gentle cleanser like noxema and the if that doesn't remover your makeup all the way then u should use a makeup remover and then the noxema again. Never use a face wash that drys out your skin. Always use washes with mositurizers, and wash your face everynight and every morning.

Maybe your makeup is moisturizing your face when you wear it and then when you don't have it on your face gets too dry and breaks out. Proactiv makes some great moisturizers, that sound like what you might need. But don't try just any moisturizer, especially not body lotion, it has to be light enough for your face so that it want clog your pores and cause even more break outs!

It could be that you did not remove your makeup completely. Use a good makeup remover (Fancl House mild cleansing oil is effective) to remove makeup first before you begin your usual cleansing regime - Cleanse, Tone, Moisturise.

It could also be that you are allergic to the cosmetics you are using if this is the 1st time you are using it.

Either something in the makeup is irritating your face, or your cleanser isn't removing it thoroughly. Try Purpose from Johnson & Johnson, it's at the drugstore or Wal-Mart, it's very gentle but good at removing makeup.

probably it because of how you remove it. if you're still using cold cream or any cleansing milk, stop using it. try a cleansing oil. it really cuts down the grease and removes all traces of makeup completely. don't forget to wash your face with your regular cleanser after removing your makeup.

It could be couple of reasons why this happiens you might not be taking all of the make-up off, or you could be using a make-up remover that doesnt agree with your skin try pond's cucumber make-up remover it works pretty good.

It clogs pores, that's why. Is there a such thing as non-creamed base foundation? I thought I read somewhere if you break out from makeup, to get one that isn't cream based. You could look into that.

you probably just have very sensitive skin. try bare essentials makeup! you can get it online or at sephora. it is all natural, and very light, but gives great coverage. it is a foundation in a powder form. it gives the face a really pretty glow and they say its so easy on your skin that you can actually sleep in it! i have never broken out using it.

You probably have sensitive skin. You may need some hypo-allergenic makeup that would be less likely to irritate your skin. And make sure that you thoroughly wash it all off your skin.

Either the make-up is old, the cleanser is all wrong or your skin is sensitive. Try changing one thing at a time.
