I saw it on the first day it was released, and I absolutely loved it. I think it would certainly be appropriate for that age group. The characters are well-defined, the story is a moral one (with a lesson), the soundtrack is great, and the artistry was awesome.
By the way, I'm in my 40s, and am a huge Pixar/Disney fan...and I thought this was the best film I've seen in a couple of years.

Hey, I'm 17 and went to see it! I think its a good movie for any age group. My cousin who turned 3 went to the movie as part of his birthday party. hope this helps!

Just went tonight. It would be fine. You would have to have an interest in cars , the whole movie is nothing but cars, no people.

It'a a good movie. I took my cousins, one of whom is 9, and they liked it too.

Some of it will be over their heads, but they should enjoy it.
