Lebron is not top 3. This was hes first playoff run.k High stastistics and no wins DO NOT make a player great. I think kobe and d wade are waay better. D wade wus able to take his team to the playsoffs hes rookie year with pretty much the same playes kobe has( Lamar, butler, grant.... and phil jaskcon) Not only did wade take it them to da playoffs he won and made it to the semis. Kobe couldnt even play da playoffs last yea withought phil. I jsut dont fall into all the media hype and nike comercials. If wadwe wus on the casv instead of lberon thier is no doubt in my mind they would be a playoff team from the start. Lebron had the big z and hughes, so u cant see he doesnt have any good players. Wade has a 10 percent shaq is barely a factor anymore. He has Williams who was another over hyped winless wonder untill now. Wlalker inconssistent and stupid decision maker da worst. James posey only shoots 3 and plays decent d and gary payton who could barely be bench on any nba team, udonis halems who does da dirty work., and mournig who gibs u good 5 minutes at a time. Stats dont mean nuttin withought da W datz why Micheal was the bet and Wilt chmaberlain wus not as good Bill russel no matter how many records wilt broke.

a lot of people will disagree with that since Kobe Bryant is still very much alive and Dwyane Wade is punishing the Mavs as of the moment but i would like to think that he is the best player in the NBA today.
LeBron James is a complete player. he improves his scoring average (but not exactly his shot selection from the floor) every year. he dishes the ball to his teammates to get the team more involved in the game; he rebounds the ball and actually was part of the top 5 in steals last season. this season, he had developed his long-range shooting and is still deadly from inside the paint as he is the leading and-1 player in the league.
the only reason why people doubt him is because unlike D-Wade, he hasn't been able to reach the finals and has only participated in the playoffs this year. D-Wade is a great player, he really is but he has a lot of players surrounding him that are also crucial for the team - Shaq for one. LeBron has not been helped a lot by his teammates - none of his teammates have been very consistent and with Larry Hughes sidelined for most of the season, he hasn't been able to glue the team together to form a much more cohesive team.
we will see next season, how LeBron James improves and if he does so, i guess there's no stopping him from being one of the greatest player ever to play the game.

UM, YEAH!!!!!! This article I read further ensures my thinking and opinion of this man :)
-his skills are unquestionable
-He averages 25 points, nearly 8 rebounds and just under 8 assists per game, in only his second year in the league, at the tender age of 20.
-He’s the youngest to score 40, to get a triple double, to start in an All Star game, and the list grows every night he plays.
-at 6-8 and a muscular 240 pounds and with uncanny speed, quickness and leaping ability, LeBron James can handle the ball like a point guard, shoot like most decent (not great, yet) off guards, and post up with the best forwards and centers in the NBA.
-He blocks shots like a center, can shut down anyone, with his size and quickness, and he gets to the basket and draws fouls better than anyone.
-He creates a mismatch every night, because he is completely unguardable.
-in just his second year, he’s taken a team that won 17 games prior to his arrival to a 50-win pace.
-and for the first time since the early 1990s, the Cavaliers are now a legitimate playoff contender; doubt any coach in the league wants to face the Cavaliers and LeBron James in a seven-game series.
So, when people want to discuss the greatest players in the game, tell them to forget any argument that doesn’t start and end with the name LeBron James.

Nah hes great no doubt but despite his stats he still hasnt proved himself like Wade..I mean he is no doubt the most explosive player in the league but until he can say been there won that after being asked about the championship he still needs work.
The Best- 1.Kobe 2.Wade 3.Lebron

I do, orlando how can you say he is overrated? He beat the Pistons 3 times by himself, he averaged 31 pts, 7 rebs, and 6 assists a game, how can you say he's overrated? And what injuries has he had? He's missed like 1 or 2 games in 3 years and he plays 48 minutes per game.

Hell yea! Hes the most efficient SG/SF in the NBA today. Hes better than Wade and Kobe. Hes tall at 6'8 and is a beast with his 240 lbs of muscle. One day he will lead the Cavs to a championship!
Go CAVS!!!

Please qualify your question with
1. Who has seen him play in a sports arena without the TV sport caster hype; There is no comparison between a televised game an a game packed with distractions and sales spiel
2. Is sportsmanship a part of the criteria in this equation.
