I don't agree with everything he's done, especially in this second term, but I support him and respect the fact that he's our President. I believe that whatever you may think of the person holding it, we should always respect the office of the Presidency. This was difficult for me during the Clinton years, I'll admit, but he was still our President and got my respect for that, though certainly not my admiration.
It's one thing to disagree with the President's policy, politics, etc. and to voice your dissent. That's part of what being American is all about. But when you go beyond that and get into mean-spirited personal attacks, smear tactics, etc. I believe that that's just disgraceful and reflects poorly on those who do it. I'm certainly not proud of conservatives who attacked Clinton this way, and I'm quite disgusted with liberals who do this to Bush. They're not hard to find either - you'll find them all over this site.

Yes I support our President. We are in difficult times. I believe President Bush is doing a great job in all areas. I realize that we are in a very difficult situation in Iraq. Consider the following, The war we fight today is against tyranny, and terrorism. We have never been in the situation that we are today. Only once before in our history has an enemy attacked our beloved nation on our own soil. If you think we are responding to this attack in a severe manner, ask your grand parents or your great grand parents how we responded to that attack. Americans stood shoulder to shoulder. We left no doubt that we do not allow ANY aggression. We fight an enemy that does not use what we call logical thinking. We are fighting a war where the enemy does not value life as we do.An enemy that has the ability to clandestinely invade us & attack with any manner of devastation, death ,and terror. An enemy that given the slightest opportunity will kill you,me,or thousand of our people without a thought. They kill because we have A god they don't know. Yet we give people of the same faith as theirs' as well as any faith the opportunity to thrive as their birth rite as an American. President Bush' policies have allowed us an economy that gives historically low unemployment rates. An economy that creates more entrepreneurs by the day. Is President Bush perfect? Is anybody perfect? Yes I support President Bush.

I love America. While I have nothing against any other country, America is my home and I couldn't see myself living anywhere else. The appalling amount of corruption and incompetence and sleaze coming from the Bush government is ruining America to the point that I hardly recognize it anymore. For example, the Bush/Rumsfeld government tortures prisoners, and actions like that are supposed to be the polar opposite of what America stands for. We are supposed to oppose countries that torture, not be one. Fortunately, November 2008 is coming soon enough, and if we get the right president this time, then America can start fresh and become an America to be proud of once again.

I support the President even if I don't agree with everything that he does. I think that people should always support the President as long as the US isn't in complete chaos from something that he (someday she...) has done. I think that there are plenty of things that he has done wrong, plenty he has done right, and plenty of things that he has no control over but get blamed for. I think that the way Iraq was handled could have been better, i applaud him for the action that he took after Sept. 11 (Afghanistan, security), and I think that it is Congress that needs to take care of the gas problem, not the President.

no I don't.
1. His political ideology is entirely different from mine,
2. He's a warmonger,
3. He's far too unethical for my tastes,
4, He's a fake christian (the real ones are bad enough),
5. He's a hypocrite and doesn't even have the balls to admit it.
These aren't all the reasons but this is all I have time for.

Yes. Everyone should back the president no matter what he is doing. We are losing our biggest asset because of political views PATRIOTISM!!! That is how we have made it this far, Patriotism is how we became a country, Patriotism is how we won the World Wars, no other country has more of it we are the original patriots.

I have a very strong opionion about Bush, but as long as he is our president i will not make a comment for or against him. Even if i don't agree, not saying that i do or don't, but i believe that saying something against our president while he is still in office is treasonous, so i plead the fifth!

No. I understand why we're involved in this war but I feel we've been there way too long. You can only do so much. Yeah they got Saddam and even if they do get Bin Laden, someone else will step up and take their place. Its been long enough over there and its time to bring our soldiers home.

I can never support someone who so blithely will try to write hate into one of America's oldest stand documents -- especially simply to gain political favour.
If that ever succeeded, I would strongly consider moving, and I know I'm not the only one.
