for all those out there who says it doesnt matter, im not saying it does...what im saying is that if ur a male, and consider urself to be "straight" but is technically in a relationship with a man, yes, i said A MAN, because it doesnt matter to me whether u change ur outter apperence, ul be a man no matter what for the simple fact, ull never be able to carry a child; u dont have the equipment...im have no problem with transgendered, gay, bi, lesbian or any of that; i know some people of these groups....what im saying is, although u made urself to be another sex, but internally, u were born male, would u still be considered to be in a gay relationship...

Before the operation, while the person is still legally and medically a male, it would be a homosexual act.

after the operation, with a legal name change and new ID cards, birth certificate changed to reflect the person's new gender identity, it would be a heterosexual relationship in the legal sense, but the person would still be male genetically, and a surgically and hormonally altered male in the medical sense.

Quite reluctantly, I'd say any man who has sex with a MTF before or after surgery is in a gay relationship, I'd like to say 'she' is fully a woman and all, but 'she' is a chemical and surgical approximation of a woman only.

And this is from real-world experience, I've met several transsexuals and while all were repulsed by male-male homosexual behavior, most engaged in sex with males either as a female (post-op) or took the female role as a pre-op or non-op TS in a relationship with a male, and some had sex with women as women.

Human sexuality covers a wide spectrum of expression, and anyone may change their sexual orientation repeatedly during their life, and some may even change their gender identity.

I once spoke with a panel of psychiatrists about the issue of gender identity, and all agreed, it's what a person's perception of what they are that determines gender identity, physical sex is determined by what genitalia you're born with, your gender is shaped by life experience, it's instilled early in life, and is usually unchangeable.

No. If having sex with someone who cannot bear children made someone gay, then I've got a cousin (whose wife is unable to have children) who is in for a big surprise.

Transgendered people are born biologically of one gender, but everything in them tells them they are not that gender.

Transexuals go through extensive psychological therapy, live as the opposite sex, often take medication and have surgery to make the body fit what they feel is real inside. Some transexual people prefer to use the term transgender because it takes the emphasis off of sex.

After all of that, the transgender person is regarded as the gender they live as.

in a way what you are sugggesting makes sense, but dont you think its this kind of narrow minded thinking that breeds contempt towards us gays? indeed SHE will never be able to bear children and SHE will always carry the XY cromosome, but why does it need to matter? if all she ever connected to ever since she is young is her female side?
besides, child bearing isnt actually top on the earth's priority lists you know. there are so many unloved and abandoned children to be adopted by her......

i truly believe if we,gays, do not sympathise HER predicament, who will? they straight people sure as hell wont!
while you are at it, why dont you look up the gwen araujo's story , i think you'll feel for the poor girl.....

so my stake on this is, once there is a sex change OP, she is fully a woman both inside and out. :)
hoe this helps

Honestly, I think it depends on what is between the transgendered person legs. If they have had gender reassignment surgery to have female genatalia, then no it is not homosexual sex. On the other hand if there is still a penis then it is homosexual sex. But it shouldn't matter if the two people care for each other.

Straight, gay, or somewhere in between, what does it matter?

Technichally that person is a woman at heart. It then depends on whether she is pre-op or post-op. In the latter case, she is fully female and it would then be a straight relationship.

This obviously wasn't meant as a question, your subsequent comments show you had already decided it did.

Realistically it doesn't

I'm gay, 100%, a transsexual makes me just as nauseated as a female, and I'm just as likely to puke, regardless of whether you think its a man or not honey -- if its transexual, its female.

do you mean that they were a man and had a sex change, or do you mean that they just wore women's cloths? if it's the first one, then i have to say no. if it's the second one, i have to say that it depends. if you had known he was a transgender while having sex, and were attracted to him anyway without imagining that he was a she, then yes. but if you didn't know or imagined that he was a she, then no.

Personally I don't care much about what you think. Your running on was actually running down people. Get a life and get out of this section, loser.
