I dont want common songs that everyone knows, such as "how do i live" and "my heart will go on". So I was thinking of either having:
-"I'll be" by Edwin McCain
-"Iris" by Goo Goo Dolls
-"A moment like this" by Kelly Clarkson
-"Where you are" by Jessica Simpson
-"Thank god I found you" by Mariah Carey
-"This I Swear" by Nick Lachey
-"You and I" by Lifehouse
-"Feels home" by Chantal Kreviazuk
-"In this Life" by Chantal Kreviazuk
or old classics, such as:
-"Lets stay together" by Al Green
-"What a wonderful world" by Louis Armstrong.

Which one do you like best? Why? And name some other good love songs that you think would be good?

Of the ones on your list, I like Louis Armstrong.

I'd choose a song that's meaningful to the two of you.

I love "Let's Stay Together" by Al Green...it's a great R&B song and great to waltz to.

I love the sentiment behind the Bette Midler songs "From A Distance" and "The Wind Beneath My Wings" and I feel the songs rather than just hear them, they move me.

I also liked very much the scene in "My Best Friend's Wedding" where Rupert Everett sang "I Say a Little Prayer For You". It was very romantic rendition which was very rousing in the restaurant.

i think it's really cool when people do fast paced 80's or 70's stuff like in everybody loves raymond when robert and amy got married and danced to jungle love. if you think thats stupid (most people do) try the way you look tonight. it's common but classic
