Um... maybe. If you aren't doing it for sexual enjoyment and are doing it for the silly reasons Becki has illustrated above.
Face it, even when you are married, you are doing it not for some God or religious reason, you are doing it to do it. End of story. All holier-than-thou pretenses should be left at the door.

Define what you concider "pure and holy" then try to find out it might be different for each person even if we use the same critera or in this case an agreed upon definition of "pure and holy"

If our doing something sexual in nature, your supposed to be thinking about what your doing..
I dont think its possible to think "pure" thoughts when your being sexual..

sexual activity can and should be pure and sacred. Most religions teach too much guilt in order to control their flock.

Oddly enough, it is. When you are so focused in on the love you have for your wife(in my case)it seems as if the moment of your "intertwining" becomes more beautiful and intense than ever. 3. Christ already paid for our sins. Your trying to stay 'pure' during such an act is in my opionion self-centered.
