If the ultrasonds have consitently put you as Due 24th August then this is probably right
Menstrual dates if certain are reliable but if there is a delay in your period, ovulation is late or there is some spotting or confusion trust the ultrasound.

Sounds alittle strange but all I know is the ultrasound is the most accurate. There is a big difference between 30-35 weeks. I would go with the ultrasound! Maybe you had light spotting that you didn't count as a period.

Ovulation occurs 14 days after the start of your period. You will typically be fertile for about 1 week. You can count starting 2 weeks and 3 days after the START of your last period to get a pretty accurate date.

Okay, my ultrasound said my son was 8 lbs. He came out at 7 lbs 6 oz. The ultrasounds are not very scientific for measuring the baby. The results are interpreted not calculated.
Talk to your doctor. I told mine my conception date was wrong because I had a chart (I was on fertility drugs) and I didn't do anything that day! Do you remember? Let your doctor know your concerns.

Why would you want to take that risk? The last few weeks are critical, the babies lungs are developing and getting stronger and he is putting on weight every week, if you had him early there could be breathing problems amongst others, unless there is a medical reason for you to have him early in which case your doctor would schedule an induction or a c section then you will just have to wait it out. Babies will come when they are ready, there is a reason pregnancy is 40 weeks, because the baby is fully grown and developed and ready to survive outside the womb.

I understand you KNOW when you had a period. You may have not ovulated till late in your cycle. Your baby is only 30 weeks DEVELOPED regardless of when you had a period. My friend thought BY LMP last period she was 10 weeks her ultersound dated her at only 7 weeks. CONGRATS and good luck on the birth!

You could have got pregnant after your period, just go with the ultrasound, they are basing this on the size of your baby. My first child was originally due on Aug. 4th and changed by ultrasound to Aug. 20th and I had her that day!!
