Just keep trying. Sometimes more qualified people come along, and even if you were great for the job, they might be just a little bit greater. Be persistent (without being annoying). Brush up on interview techniques and tips (try a Yahoo search). But I'll give you a few major tips here (and everyone else is free to read too).

-Always dress nice for an interview, it's always better to overdress than underdress, even if it is a casual place.
-Make sure your shoes are shined. Sounds silly, but apparently it's a big deal. We had a speaker come to my college and was talking about interview things and it's one of the top 5 most important things (for most employers) because it shoes you care about things.
-Always shake hands firmly and look them in the eye. Sit straight-up. Practice your answers so you don't stutter or mumble or say "um" a lot.
-Always talk about your good points, don't mention bad points.
-Ask the employer questions too. It shows that you understand the job and care about what you're going to be doing. And also research it before you go. KNOW what the company does and why!!
-Afterwards, ALWAYS send a Thank You not IN THE MAIL (not e-mail) after an interview or an application review to show you are really interested in the job. It helps them remember who you are and shows that you are polite, responsible, and see things through.
-There's others, those are just some ideas.

The smallest things can sometimes make it or break it for you.

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!

They say that for every $10,000 you want to make that you should expect to look for 1 month to find that job. Sometimes it takes a while to find one, believe me I know! Type up a resume with what experience you have already, and go from there. Not sure of your local, but often your local classifieds will give you leads. Also, check with your local temp services as for they can put you in touch with employers that hire you temporarily, and can often lead to permanent work (I worked at a place for 6 yrs, and was hired on originally as a temp, and got the job 3 days into my temp status). Also, you might want to check with your local dept of labor. Look at the links I have provided for you below.

Double check your resume. You are basically selling yourself, so use your resume to list your accomplishments, and skills. Make yourself sound fantastic.

Do not include anything that is not truthful though. Also try applying for all types of jobs (don't just stick to one profession). Good Luck - there's something out there for you.
