It's approx. 5yrs old. 15ft high, skinny but full and healthy looking

5 to 7 yrs, as long as you do not over-fertilize it. Also, you need a pollinator within 200 ft, preferably within 50 ft. Just has to be ANY apple tree. Just be sure to train the branches to bear weight, and fruit. I do this by hanging weight on the branches, to bring them to 30 degrees, close to horizontal, and to resist weight. I use water gallon jugs, and add water, and weight , each week.
Good luck. This is not rocket science. You can make mistakes, and the trees forgive you, and keep on growing......
