I used my laptop to buy these. I have my main itunes on my home computer. When I tried to put my newly purchased songs on my ipod, it says I can't because it isn't authorized or something. So did I just waste my money because I can't get them on my ipod or is there some way to do it? Please help me!

You have to authorize your iTunes player to play the music you just purchased, on both the iPod and iTunes, just double click any song you purchased. It should ask for a AppleID and your password to allow you to play these songs.

As for locating these files, they are in your My Documents folder...
My Documents> My Music> iTunes> iTunes Music... Look for the folder of the artist you just purchased.

If you want to transfer them to another computer, you can use your iPod to transfer the files (your iPod is a portable hard drive) or burn them to a CD using Nero or whatever software you do use. Make sure you burn them to the disc as data, not music...

Simply copy and paste the files into the exact same location listed above, on the other computer.

You have to register your computer to put songs onto your ipod from that computer. I would not register that computer I would just move those files to your main computer. Then you could put them onto your ipod without wasting one of the five registrable computers per an ipod.

I do not download songs to any other comp. besides my main one.

At least you got yours. I paid for 6 songs from Yahoo music and didn't get a one of them because their server was having problems. I sent them emails and still nothing, 6 months later. I wish I could tell you how to get your where you want them to be. Sorry
