You can buy or rent a wet saw. Depending on how much work you are going to do, one might be cheaper than another.

If you are only going to cut a few bricks, I would suggest a masonry blade for a 7 1/4" circular saw. It will do quite well if you are careful.

We're doing the same thing and have already asked this question to local experts. They all told us the same thing. Buy a masonry blade for a saw you already own. First score the brick and then cut it with your saw.

Go to Lowe's/Home Depot....look for a wet saw. Yes it uses water on the blade...you can also use it to cut tile.
