A high CPK index is also present with Rhabdomyolysis which is the precursor to renal failure. (Kidney failure).
Other disorders related to a high CPK index are:
Heart attack
Myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle)
Central nervous system trauma
Stroke
Convulsions
Delirium tremens
Dermatomyositis
Polymyositis
Electric shock
Muscular dystrophies
Pulmonary infarction (lung tissue death)
Hypothyroidism
Pericarditis (following a heart attack)
Rhabdomyolysis
Rhabdomyolysis is the breakdown of muscle fibers resulting in the release of muscle fiber contents into the circulation. Some of these are toxic to the kidney and frequently result in kidney damage.
Factors that may affect test results include cardiac catheterization, intramuscular injections, trauma to muscles, recent surgery, and vigorous and prolonged exercise.
Drugs that can increase CPK measurements include amphotericin B, ampicillin, some anesthetics, anticoagulants, aspirin, clofibrate, dexamethasone, furosemide, morphine, alcohol, and cocaine.
The best way to lower your CPK index is not to use the aforementioned drugs.
Depending on why you have a high CPK index would determine how to lower it.
Check out this site: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/003503.htm it has links to the various causes of high CPK levels and what is generally done in each of the given situations.
Edit: If you are on statins with an elevated CPK go to this site http://www.rxlist.com/rxboard/lipitor.pl?noframes;read=1705 also check with your doctor again, your medication could be countraindicated in certain cases.

CPK is an enzyme produced when musscle tissue is damaged.
It was once used to determine heart muscle damage, but now there are other tests that are more indicitive and specific to indicate damage to the heart muscle.
CPK will usually resolve, become within the normal amount usually found in the body.
If your CPK is high your physician should be performing more tests to make sure the elevation is not from your heart muscle

Cheese price / Cheese price kite (a windborne device for advertising the price of cheese) indexes can be found in any handbook of cheese pricing advertisement practices. I particularly recommend Edith Parmesan's seminal work, "Practical Techniques For Advertising Dairy Food Prices With Windborne Devices (fully revised and updated edition, 2005)".

By not having a heart attack or exercising too strenuously. This is an enzyme released after muscle damage has occurred-usually cardiac muscle.
