i have both but just want to see what others would like to have more.

I have both, and I love them both dearly and would not trade them for anything in the world, but as far as just giving an answer for the % I say cats are much easier because they are more self dependant.

Why choose when you can have the best of both worlds? I have 14 dogs and 5 cats.

i have had dog/ puppy and cat/ kittens i prefer dogs because a cat tell when some is at the door, someone who will protect you while a stranger is trying to kidnap you at the park while on a walk. and best of all dont have to change a cat box for the cat. dogs poopy outside ...

I would have to pick a cat because they require less maintanence, but I prefer dogs in general. I have had both and enjoy the company of both.

I have both but I love my animals....i have a ferret that plays with my cats.....then on top of that i have rats which play with my cats and dogs.........

Cat defiantly!! Cats spend most of their time sleeping, the rest eating, and some are playful either way they don't stink, drool, bark, and they are much more cuddly :-)

Dogs love back! They protect you and make you feel better when your down. They also listen to you problems and do not back talk. Great venting animals and give great comfort to many people including nursing home folks. =)

i would like a dog becouse there bigger and there, thay listen to you and don't argue.
thay are humens bestfriend and cat just run away lol
