That is more common than people care to admit. I live in a country where people treat outsiders better than their own people. It has to do with the image that is projected by the people.
I think the same dynamic is at play when people treat their own family members horribly but are nice to outsiders and guests.
It is strange isn't it?

They're crazy and insane or the other person was rude to them in some way...You can hate somebody of your own race...like if you're Asian, and another Asian is making rumors about you, you'd probably hate them...Great Question!!!

B/c they are valuing their self worth based on the perception of an outsider. Someone of a different race calls them ignorant, stupid, ugly, etc and they actually start to believe it and strive to be someone they are not

absolutely!!!!! I think that even though racism still exists in the world today the majority treat people on an individual basis. Hatred is based more on intention than racism
