It hurts to see the pictures of those two heroes on the t.v. I'm serious, if all us liberals suddenly change and turn republican and support our President 100%, right or wrong, and see this war through to the end, would we hurt the savages' cause? What if we all stuck together as Americans and gave it our all to kick the savages a$$es, would it help. I'm willing to do it. Should I turn Republican?

You know what? You've asked a very good question. It sickens me to think what may be happening to our soldiers. God knows I'm praying for them and their loved ones who, I imagine are even more pi$$ed than we are. I think the answer lies not in political partys but in the American people's spirit. I do not subscribe to any particular party, I simply go with who I think will do the best jobs. That way, I don't hate my fellow Americans for their political preferences. I think if we stand together, some how, some way, we will find our way to peace, or at least a happy medium. Thats what this country is all about, the American people, freedom of choice and a spirit in every American heart and soul that cannot crushed or coerced. I support the President on some things, and on others I disagree. I will always respect the office though and the fact that it cannot be easy being the leader of these United States. We stand behind our military men and women, we pray (for those who wish too) and deep down, we must find a way to tear down those walls that seperate us because that's exactly what the terrorist do not want. They have tried to divide us with 9/11 amongst many other goals therein, but we came together, didn't we folks? I'm really proud of us all. When the chips are down, we become a force to be reckoned with. Our way is peace if at all possible but should the enemy wish to see that dark side of war, then we will do what we must do. God Bless America and all of our soldiers.

You are on the right path to support our troops. The county should rally together just as it did right after 911. As far as becoming a Republican, I would say that that party is definitely better than the Democrat party, however, You can also just choose to have no real party and be an independent. I used to be a Democrat a long time ago and then I was a Republican for about 6 years and now for about the last 8 years I am an independent. I call myself a conservative but I still vote mostly Republican on the issues. If I don't know about a candidate I don't vote for him or her regardless what party they are with. The main problem with the Democratics is that their prominant leaders are extreemly on the left or liberal side to the point of being anti U.S.A by wanting rights or more rights for our enimies and foriegners as if they were your average citizen. They favor criminals rather than the police who protect us. They want to teach our children anti family views and want to destrory the moral fabric of America and reinvent it's mainstream views. They care more for animals than for humans. These Democracts hijacked the traditional Democratic Party along time ago. As for the Republicans, they are more mainsteam in their collective views. The thing I don't like is there is still too much Politics and finance reform needed in both parties. Worst of all is the liberal Major Media that attacks our military and condems politicians and soldiers who have been accused of things while not even having a hearing or judgement against them. And the very worst of all is that the Major Media now likes to make up news rather then traditional reporting which used to include veriying facts and eyewitness accounts. Remenber the reporter who said Korans were bing flushed down the tiolet-It was totaly made up. Remember in the last Presidential election on voting day when the exit polls (several of them ) stated that President Bush was losing -It was reported the next day that they were all mistaken after all. The sad thing is that unless our politicians and we ourselves check out the stories for ourselves we will continue to not know who to believe and the average working person doesn't have alot of time to do that.I think some of the media counts on that to push its agenda ahead. We have to be well informed more than ever. Ignorance is really harmful for us these days.

You don't have to support the president, just be sure to support the war and our troops. Unfortunately, the media only seems to show the bad happenings in Iraq. Lets not forget about our 8 heroes being held at Camp Pendleton in conditions more deplorable than the detainee's at gitmo have to endure. And our boys haven't even been charged with a crime yet.

That's a ridiculous way to face your dilema. While I totally disagree with the war in Iraq and feel you should blame the president and his decision makers on what happened to those servicemen, I also also belive you should think about it rationally. I believe you should not fall into the political trap of choosing party sides, but sincerely stand by what you believe and support the candidate that best fits your belief. Think about your decisions rationally and maturely.

Look, face it -----All of us should support our troops, but our commander in chief is more interested in selling us out or giving away everything our troops are fighting for. Support GW?---I think not.He couldn't hold down a job until Daddy bought this one for him. Jeb made sure he got in when questions came up about the election in Florida. He can't do this job right either.Support GW---I think not.

You don't have to be a republican to support our troops. I'm a Democrat and I'm just as much an American as any Republican. I pray for our troops, especially those kidnapped, ever night. God be with them, and I know he is.
