Pi 3.1415...
1/3 cannot truly be converted to decimal.
Zero: only number that when multiplied by ANY number does not change.
One: Only number when multiplied to any number doesn't change the number.

I can't believe that people have forgotten one of the greatest modernly discovered transendental numbers. The Feigenbaum number is fascinating!!! It is my favorite number because the ratio of periodic doubling bifurcation points in the limit of any periodic doubling dynamical system always converges to the Feigenbaum number!!! Isn't that great! I love dynamical systems. Pi and e are for sure necessary in that list. Zero was a monumental discovery by both the Indian people in the East, and also by the Maya in the Americas.

The golden number has some very fascinating properties as well. For example, the fibonocci sequence can be generated by choosing the integer closest to the following number: f_n= (1/sqrt(5))((sqrt(5)+1)/2)^n. Now (sqrt(5)+1)/2) is the golden ratio.

others might be the speed of sound, the mass of individual components of atoms, Plank's constant, and the number of Democrats needed to agree on 2+2=4. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of smart Democrats, but they choose to sometimes ignore their intelligence (Al Frankin) and use some bizzare rationalization to justify their position. Others have no real intelligence, (Michael Moore) but have means to disseminate their (mostly crap) ideals on the rest of the USA. Moore and Frankin both make much more money than I do, yet, I tend to support conservatives more than liberals. Does this mean I am part of the ultra rich conspiracy. I am middle class, and I am sick (actually of both parties). I will support a third party candidate who is against legalizing illegal immigrants.

To put this number in context, if every particle in the universe were a pot of ink, and you had an infinitely large piece of paper to write on, if you started writing out Graham's Number, you'd run out of ink before you finished writing it.

2) Pi = 3.14159265.........
3) tau= 1/2 +1/2sqr(5)
4) e = 2.71828183.............
5) square root (2) = 1.414213562......
6) infintify = eight turn on it's side
7) 0 thru 9 - our basic decimal counting system
8) one & zero - binary counting system
9) g= 32 ft per sec in the engish system or 980.meter per second in the metric system
10) c= the speed of light equal to 186282 mile per second in the engish system and 300000per second in the metric system
